The Board of Commissioners of Defiance County, Ohio, is accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Maintenance Worker.  This is a part-time, classified position; up to 25 hours per week. All County employees are participants in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS). Starting wage is $14.50 per hour.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: mowing, trimming, and removal of yard waste; collecting trash; cleaning buildings and restrooms; stripping, waxing, and buffing of floors or shampooing carpets; cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles; painting, patching, and wallpapering; and other duties related to maintenance of the County-owned properties.

Candidates must have related work experience, the ability to pull/maneuver a trailer, and possess a valid State of Ohio Motor Vehicle Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
