About Seasonal Beach Club Manager

  DescriptionTo oversee all staffing, training, operations, member/guest experiences and administrative functions of the Inwood Beach Club.Responsibilities•Confirm all employees have a full understanding of standard policies and procedures•Work with the accounting office to update and manage all Point of Sale programming - prices, printer routing, modifiers•Ensure that all shifts are staffed appropriately by managing employee schedules according to business demands•Monitor and approve all employee time clock registrations. Complete tip sheets. Process and submit payroll accurately•Ensure that all staff are aware of and fulfilling their job responsibilities•Deliver superior service and maximize member & guest satisfaction•Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity•Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported immediately and rectified•Complete all administrative duties competently and as written, within the time frame given•Attend all management and organization meetings as requested by the General Manager•Ensure that no members of staff are permitted to work if they are not suitably dressed or groomed•Ensure you are aware of, and that you enforce all the company policies in respect to human resources and staff welfare•Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations•Introduce new members to the club and help familiarize them with the hours of operations, services offered, and provide them with a tour around the facility.•Ensure all cabanas are kept clean and that the beach chairs and umbrellas are set up and broken down correctly each day. •Act as a liaison between the club and outside vendors such as the pool maintenance company and the lifeguard company. The Ideal Candidate•High School Diploma, or equivalent level of education, required (Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure)•Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, speak and interpret documents in clear English. Ability to communicate in secondary language is a plus.•Computer friendly.•Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space and to reach other locations of the area in a timely basis.•Must be able to multi-task and manage in high volume, and high stress environments. Possess a “roll up your sleeves” attitude•Must be able to work Wednesday through Sunday and Holiday Mondays from Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend. •Must have managerial or supervisory experience in any field.Job Type: Seasonal/Temporary Work in a 50 to 60 hour per week capacity End of May through Early September. Pay: $1250 per week or more depending upon experience. Benefits:•Employee discount on Food & Beverage•Limited personal & family use of beach club facilities available. •Complimentary housing for one individual in a dormitory like setting available for season.

  Minimum Salary: 1250Maximum Salary: 1750Salary Unit: Weekly
