Project Overview: This is a highly visible project focused on providingcritical strategic Security solutions as part of IAM Tower inInformation Security. The initiative supports the build out of theSeveral Security services and BAU support to existing security products.Efforts focus on coordinating integration from multiple applicationSecurity Services, collaborate with various teams for issue tracking,reporting and stake holder communications.
Contractors Role: The Scrum Master and Project Manager facilitates theplanning, tracking, communication and coordination of activities for anAgile project delivery team. This role requires solid practicalexperience and techniques in both Agile and project management. As aScrum Master, the role includes collaborating intensively with theirteam members across both Business and Technology disciplines providingmentoring and coaching around Agile principles and practices. He/sheaids with the resolution of blocking challenges and provides outwardcommunication for the team to external stakeholders.
Experience Level:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required. Greater than 6years experience required
Qualifications:
Intermediate to advanced understanding of basic software developmentmethodologies and fundamentals (Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, Waterfall,etc.).
Experience with developing, testing and deploying software utilizing arapid, iterative delivery method.
Understanding of all facets of the software development life cycleincluding: planning, requirements management, development, qualityassurance, change management and release management.
Exposure or awareness of continuous integration and test-drivendevelopment practices, test automation and tools.
Experience with Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (JIRA, Rally,VersionOne).
Major Duties:
1. Able to organize, moderate and demonstrate value-add principles andpractices to the teams, with an emphasis on leveraging the benefits ofAgile, facilitating continuous improvement and enabling teams to beself-empowered
2. Experience with developing and executing plans and roadmaps,developing and delivering status reports, meeting deadlines,coordinating timelines and efforts and operating under tight timeconstraints.
3. Advanced interpersonal skills able to establish strong workingrelationships and promote bi-directional communication within and acrossmultiple business and technology teams.
4. Strong leadership and organizational skills with excellentcommunication (written and verbal), time management, project management,and individual and team building skills.
5. Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts andcontribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
6. Able to effectively facilitate discussions and suggest alternativeapproaches.
7. Be transparent and provide visibility to Business and Technology.
8. Develop and grow trust across the project team(s), Business andTechnology.
9. Collaborate closely with pmo team to facilitate change
10. Strong formal meeting facilitation skills ncluding meetings thatsupport the Agile meeting cadence
11. Ability to balance workload between scrum master and projectmanagement responsibilities
