Role Summary
The candidate will lead a small team of science and technology experts supporting the Mission Command Battle Lab (MCBL) Concept Development and Prototype Experimentation Program.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide S&T support to Concept Development and Prototype Experimentation for MCBL.
Responsible for interfacing with and briefing Government personnel.
Develop, implement, oversee, and improve as necessary those processes and procedures required to address and satisfy the Government's contractually defined objectives while ensuring high quality products and services.
Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, updating project plans, approving expenditures, and making decisions about department related purchases.
Coordinate and/or attend cross-functional meetings of personnel related to project.
Report status, develop project-related documentation and implement lessons learned.
Participate in project performance review meetings and discussions (when required).
Responsible for developing and accessing documentation in the form of reports, proposals, white papers, and briefings.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university.
Five or more years’ combined experience in Army acquisition or S&T development with knowledge of Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process.
Experience working with ASAALT organizations, DARPA, Academia, or commercial firms.
Demonstrated experience developing Learning Demands, Measures of Performance and/or Measures of Effectiveness, and developing methodology for Army experiments.
Knowledge of Army and Joint Doctrine and a demonstrated understanding of conducting and analyzing research and collecting data.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must meet all DoD 8570 Certification requirements for IAT Level II, which includes baseline certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification as stipulated within DoD 8570.01-M
Other Qualifications
Possess clear and precise oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Submit to required background checks.
Able to meet requirements to work on a military installation, including having a valid state driver's license and car insurance.
Be self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes.
Be completely functional in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Be able to travel as required.
Ability to hold a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree from an accredited university.
Ability to identify potential Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to identified gaps.
Graduate of a military service school equivalent to the Army Command and General Staff College (Military Education Level-4)
Field-grade level knowledge and experience (desire is Army service of greater than 10 years with experiences in Army, joint, and coalition operations at the division or higher echelon)
