　　   Des Moines Public Schools is seeking School Social Workers for the 2024-2025 school year.Job Summary:Enhance the educational programs of individuals by assisting in identification assessment and support of their educational needs including social, emotional, behavioral and adaptive needs.Please see attached job descripton for further information on functions of the position along with educational and experience requirements.Successful candidates for this position will possess:Master’s Degree in Social Work.Iowa Statement of Professional Recognition or School Social Work Endorsement.Iowa Department of Public Health Licensure (LMSW or LISW)Highly Qualified Candidates for this position will possess:Experience in an urban school district.Position Details:Contract days vary by assignment7.75 hoursSalary schedule attached Candidates offered employment will be compensated based on skills, work experience and education.Des Moines Public Schools offers agenerous benefits packageincluding:IPERS
