　　Maxim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide.The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiringinstructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of thespecial education department and/or supervising designee.

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　· Follows through with IEP objectives includingmath, reading, speech, independent skills, and managing behavioral deficits andexcesses, one on one or as a general classroom aide

　　· Facilitates teacher directed learning activitiesincluding lesson plans, worksheets, reinforcement systems, small groups, socialgames, and work assistance

　　· Assists students when included into generaleducation classes

　　· Communicates pertinent information to teachers

　　· Accompanies students during recess and lunchperiods, along with community experiences

　　· Strictly adheres to confidentiality requirementsregarding all matters pertaining to students, parents, parent communications,and/or classroom activities. (Note: Unless instructed otherwise by supervisingteacher, all parent communication is the responsibility of certified personnel)

　　· Assists with activities of prescribed programsincluding those written by related service personnel such as PT, OT and SLP

　　· Assists students in the development ofindependent skills through self-care activities such as toileting, clothingroutines and personal hygiene

　　· May be asked to assist in behavior managementtechniques at the direction of the teacher and/or other school professional(i.e. BCBA, Psychologist, etc.)

　　· Assists teacher with clerical duties includingmaking stimuli, making copies, maintaining a clean and organized classroom,preparing materials, and assignment scoring

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Must be 18 years of age or older

　　High School Diploma or equivalent required

　　Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills

　　Computer proficiency preferred

　　Successful completion of background screening and onboarding process

　　Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements Full command, verbal and written, of the English language

　　Current certificate as applicable per state and / or client requirement
