Description

We are seeking a Scheduling Supervisor for our retail furniture operations located in the New Brunswick, New Jersey area. As a Scheduling Supervisor, your primary role will be overseeing the scheduling team, coordinating project installations, and maintaining effective communication with clients and contractors. You will also be responsible for handling data management using Excel spreadsheets and our new system for tracking purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and guide a team of schedulers

• Coordinate and set schedules for project installations

• Collaborate with warehouse team for material availability and project managers for schedule alignment

• Communicate with contractors and crew for project execution

• Utilize Excel for data entry, tracking, and organization

• Implement and adapt to the new system for tracking and scheduling

• Maintain detailed records of project schedules and updates

• Communicate timely updates to clients as required

• Ensure all schedules are organized and all details are accounted for.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a scheduling role.

• Demonstrated ability to supervise, guide, and manage a team.

• Proficiency in scheduling software and tools.

• Strong understanding of retail operations and supply chain management.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to develop and implement efficient scheduling protocols.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changes quickly.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.

• Willingness to work during retail hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards in a retail setting.
