　　**[Schedules appointments for incoming shipments by working with Purchasing Department and various trucking companies, assigns inbound trucks to specific warehouse doors, checks in trucks at the receiving desk, provides updated truck information to Purchasing Department every few hours, utilizes the software to assist with the closing of purchase orders, maintains shellfish information and various other files in order to be in compliance with HACCP, maintains warehouse office files including Material Safety Data Sheets maintains billing records to lumping service and trucking lines, acts as a liaison with vendors, suppliers, freight companies and dispatchers to identify and resolve scheduling and billing problems, prepares schedule and other paperwork for next day deliveries.

　　**[Basic requirements include High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D. or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, passing mandatory ergonomics testing, and Pallet Jack and Forklift Certification from the client. Preferred requirements include high volume food distribution experience.

　　[Essential skills and knowledge include working knowledge of product receiving techniques and procedures, equipment associated with warehouse activities, and operation of warehouse equipment; the ability to learn and understand products sold by the client and clients safety and security policies; the ability to read, write, and understand English; basic arithmetic skills; ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; and excellent telephone skills.
