Responsible for collating and validating documents along with processing data for Old Dominion’s customers with the goal of streamlining and improving accuracy in the pricing process.
Primary Responsibilities
Proofread and compile pricing documents for OD customers.
Coordinate with pricing analysts to ensure accuracy of information.
Present all information collated from data in an easily digestible format.
Load data into OD’s system for internal personnel to view for a variety of business purposes.
Set up new customers and amend existing customers in OD’s system to ensure bills can be rated accurately and automatically.
Research and update customer codes to ensure pricing is properly applied.
Distribution of pricing documentation directly to customers for their records.
Job Qualifications
Education:
Associate degree (2 Year Degree) or equivalentExperience:
Minimum of one year experience in the transportation industry
Understanding of outbound, inbound and third-party billing
Understanding of tariffs, schedules, NMFC rules, freight bills, shipper codes and bill-to codes
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Must be detail-oriented and have strong proofreading/editing skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
