Responsible for analyzing the hospital’s current accounts receivable for Medicaid Managed Care, finding underpayments and rebilling the insurance carriers to maximize reimbursement under our contracts. Bills all special devices per contract to receive the additional reimbursement and suggests ways to improve future cash flow, providing ad hoc reports to management. Responsible for accurate knowledge of and familiarity with, major managed care contracts, referencing contracts as needed. Must have EPIC experience and understand the Medicaid replacement process with all the Medicaid MCO replacements.Have a High School diploma. Have 3- 5 years Hospital patient accounting experience. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of third party payers including Medicare, Medicaid, and local HMO/PPOs. Proficient in the use of information technology, with a focus on Windows NT, MS Word, MS Excel. Excellent communication skills.
