Enterprise Electronics Corporationis seeking aSatellite Ground Station Systems Engineerto join our Telespace satellite ground station division. Our manufacturing facility is in Enterprise, Alabama, but we will consider remote/hybrid working arrangements.

　　As a core team member, you will design, develop, build, and maintain satellite ground station systems. This will include work on our acquisition, processing, and visualization products, plus their web interfaces. You should have a strong background in software with a solid understanding of computer and peripheral hardware, preferably with RF knowledge. This is a technically varied role, and as we expand, we're looking for someone who enjoys learning and making a difference.

　　Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

　　Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent5 years of commercial development experience on Linux/UNIX platforms using technologies such as C++, Python, bashDetailed knowledge of computer and peripheral hardwareUnderstanding of satellite remote sensing and level 0/1/2+ ProcessingClear and concise written and oral communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with a passion for learning new skillsPreferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

　　Knowledge of satellite RF principlesExperience with software packages, such as, CSPP, IPOPP, AAPP, and RT-STPSUtilized version control systems and software packaging such as git and RPMFamiliarity with virtualization and cloud platforms such as VMware and AWSKnowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP), meteorology, and/or image/scientific data processingProficient with Linux/UNIX operating systems to a systems administration levelExperience with debug tools and databases such as gdb, valgrind, and PostgreSQLUnderstanding of mathematics related to sensor geometry/processingKnowledge of analog/digital circuitryBenefits:
