TEKsystems has a customer that is looking for a senior consultant/developer to help deliver a bin packing problem solution. The developer would need to design a solution to pack as few trucks as possible with the proper load configurations (weight, dims, product rules) to fulfill intercompany transfers, as well as establish the correct truck load minimum mixed SKU orders for planning.

　　The ideal candidate would be familiar with SAP S/4 STO’s; proficient with UI best practices, and an expert with Python. The candidate also needs to understand AWS Lambda (datasync) and ReactJS. A basic understanding of SAP LE functions such as handling units, EWM outbound deliveries and goods movements is also required.

　　The candidate should have the ability to capture the business needs of customers and work with them to deploy innovative supply chain solutions as a part of the customers’ transformation journey to generate business value.

　　Responsibilities:

　　● Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into a deliverable solution

　　● Will follow change control and design governance policies

　　● Ability to understand load/bin packing mathematical models

　　● Analyzes, designs, codes, tests and troubleshoots

　　● Works with warehouse supervisors and planners to create this appropriate add on to SAP

　　● Can equally converse in SAP and AWS development concepts

　　● Works with ABAP team for clean integration of data

　　● Provide guidance on best practices, process and functions

　　● Responsible for the Technical or Functional aspects of the analysis and design process and its associated documentation – technical, functional specification, test plans, etc

　　● Guides and troubleshoots during the implementation

　　● Responsible for defining and timely competition of required task with little or no assistance or oversight

　　● Able to conduct presentations to all audiences on a variety of subjects

　　● Able to communicate with team members and clients in a clear, consistent, and professional manner.

　　● Keeps the Project Manager informed

　　● Able to allocate time, prioritize tasks, and accurately scope tasks and phases of a project

　　● Suggests tools and processes needed to improve the way we operate

　　Experience:

　　● 6+ years of experience in full cycle SAP implementation and enhancement projects.

　　● 3+ years in AWS capabilities

　　● 3+ years in complex algorithm modeling

　　● 2+ years of SAP MM/EWM

　　● 2+ years of Python/REACT JS

　　Consultant can work remotely, but some travel throughout North America may be required - no more than once/month, but most likely less often.
