Position Summary
As an SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our global trade operations, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations, and optimizing the flow of goods and services across borders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement, configure, and maintain the SAP GTS module, helping to drive our global trade compliance strategy. Your expertise in SAP GTS will be essential in facilitating international trade processes and minimizing the risks associated with global operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under limited supervision, general direction, etc. and in accordance with all applicable government laws, regulations and ASP policies, procedures and guidelines, the duties and responsibilities of this position include:
· SAP GTS Configuration: Customize and configure the SAP GTS module to align with the company's global trade compliance requirements, including tariff classification, export control, import/export compliance, and product classification.
· Trade Compliance Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain effective trade compliance processes, including import/export documentation, embargo/sanction list screening, and restricted party screening.
· Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the SAP GTS system, including the maintenance of product master data, customs information, and compliance documentation.
· Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor international trade activities and perform regular audits to identify and address potential compliance issues. Generate reports to track and analyze trade compliance performance and key metrics.
· Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and colleagues to enhance their understanding of SAP GTS functionality, compliance requirements, and best practices.
· Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in international trade regulations and trade compliance laws to ensure the company's ongoing compliance and make necessary system adjustments.
· Troubleshooting: Act as the point of contact for troubleshooting SAP GTS-related issues and implementing solutions to resolve system and process discrepancies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Advanced degrees and SAP certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 7+ years’ experience with SAP Global Trade Services
Medical Device industry or medical field is a plus
Proven experience in implementing and configuring SAP GTS, with a minimum of 7+ years in a similar role.
Strong understanding of international trade compliance regulations, customs procedures, and trade finance.
Proficiency in SAP GTS modules, SAP ECC, or S/4HANA, and SAP Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with SAP Firori.
