This SAP Practice at Simplot is responsible for creating solutions within the new S4/HANA landscape to support our company’s dynamic global needs. Each team member will contribute to building Solutions by utilizing the vast array of SAP products to support our business objectives. We are currently looking for innovative and driven Functional Leads to join the existing team and contribute to all future business objectives. The Functional Lead role is a true hybrid SAP functional consultant and business process visionary. They will lead and mentor other team members, manage various SI resources on-shore and off-shore and engage directly with business leaders to design, build, and implement the future solutions for Simplot.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　Responsible for driving continuous improvements and innovation in Taxation and Finance areas.

　　Document solutions and provide functional and technical presentations to peers as well as solution architects as related to Tax within the IT organization.

　　Responsible for working with IT, Tax and business partners and other stakeholders to define requirements under various indirect tax matters, supporting the related tax systems and processes.

　　Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the IT environment, including tax software, ERP platforms, hardware, application development, and related internal control practices to ensure compliance with information management-related policies and procedures.

　　Timely resolution of Tax related Global issues integrating tax calculations within our Tax software applications (OSD – Sabrix /OneSource and SAP)

　　Typical Education

　　Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or universityRelevant Experience

　　5+ Years of proven experience as an SAP Functional Analyst in relation to Record to Report focusing on Tax processes and underlying SAP capabilities is required.

　　Proven knowledge of the SAP Fiori elements and how to drive standardization and re-utilization of elements in a quest to develop a common UX repository is preferred.

　　Prepare Technical and Functional Specifications for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements Forms, Workflows objects (RICEFW) related to SAP integration with Sabrix/OneSource Tax engine.

　　Good understanding of various integration patterns between SAP products and non-SAP Products and when to utilize these patterns when enabling Tax business process is preferred.

　　Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is required.

　　Should have worked on OSD (Sabrix /OneSource) Tax application and interfacing to SAP.

　　The ideal candidate should have a good Tax IT background in the indirect tax area (e.g. VAT, GST, S&U and WHT) combined with a solid track record of participation in Tax related IT projects.

　　Finance Integration understanding with various SAP and Non-SAP Modules and their E2E data flow including taxation.

　　Excellent troubleshooting and verbal and written communication skills is required.

　　Good understanding of standards, guidelines, and best practices to be used during development is required.
