　　Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in the Ft. Detrick, MD area.

　　Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

　　Design, develop, and implement custom programs, reports, enhancements, and interfaces using SAP ABAP in line with medical logistics business requirements.

　　Collaborates with business users and other SAP technical staff to develop, implement and execute upon the requirements of the business through complex ABAP programming, testing, documentation and debugging functions related to the implementation of SAP S/4 modules

　　Work closely with functional analysts to understand and refine technical specifications.

　　Develop and implement data migration programs to ensure the smooth transition of data between SAP and other systems.

　　Create interfaces for seamless integration between SAP and external applications.

　　Optimize existing ABAP programs to enhance system performance and efficiency.

　　Conduct code reviews and implement best practices to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.

　　Analyze and resolve issues related to custom developments, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

　　Utilize debugging tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve ABAP-related problems.

　　Work closely with cross-functional teams, including functional analysts, SAP consultants, and end-users, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

　　Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and insights

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Experience with large scale agile approaches such as SAFe

　　Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

　　5 years experience as a SAP ABAP Developer, with expertise in ABAP programming language.

　　Strong understanding of SAP modules and business processes.

　　Proficiency in SAP development tools, debugging techniques, and performance tuning.

　　Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

　　Strong communication and collaboration skills.

　　Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Knowledge of SAP HANA or other advanced SAP technologies is a plus.Clearance Requirements:

　　Must be a U.S. Citizen; Can obtain a Public Trust clearance; and will be subject to a Tier 3 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility only. Candidates who have recently completed T3 investigations are a plus.

　　Physical Requirements:

　　The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
