Responsible for all activities involved in maintaining the cleanliness and food safety environment of the whole facility, surrounding grounds, and equipment. (i.e., Are team members working safely, are the on task, are the most effective methods being used, training opportunities, etc.)
Monitor tasks are completed safely, correctly, and satisfactorily by every team member. Reports on tasks that are partially or entirely incomplete.
Motivate, instructs, trains, and develops the sanitation crew.
Hold team members to the highest standard in regards to safety, as well as maintaining cleanliness in and around facility.
Keep self and crew focused on the task at hand.
Make sure all portions of task lists are completed in their entirety by the team member (Including the Lead) assigned to that specific section of the list.
Hold individual team members accountable if their task list isn’t complete. Find out why it was incomplete, what steps need to be taken to correct the issue, and coach/train each member on effective ways to carry out all their duties.
