Job Description

Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assures compliance with health and safety and regulatoryrequirements and serves as a resource for employeesAdherence to QA and QC protocolsResponsible for approval of time worked, approving paid time off andother administrative duties.Develops and monitors group work schedules based on current andprojected workloads and adjusts staffing resources as neededEnsures that the laboratory group members maintain effectivecommunication in order to eliminate waste and scheduling delays.Continually developing a team that works well togetherAdherence to corporate policies and standard operating procedures(SOPs)Responsible for departmental SOPsSets targets, standards for and monitors productivity and timelinesswithin the groupResponsible for maintaining of proper inventory of supplies toeffectively manage costs while meeting customer objectives and needsThe ideal candidate would possess:

Prior experience with managing peopleStrong computer and organizational skillsExcellent communication (both oral and written) and attention todetailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated,adaptability, and a positive attitudeGood financial acumen is a plusDelegation skills to foster employee developmentQualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED. BS or BA degree is preferred, but notrequired.Minimum of five years of laboratory experience or similar experiencewith customer service, sample login and creation of samplecollection kitsMust be able to work standing for most of the dayMust be able to lift up to 55 poundsAdditional Information

Requirements:

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely withoutrestriction or sponsorshipProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement,including the ability to read, write and speak in EnglishPosition is full-time day shift Monday - Friday.

Compensation rate: $52,000 - 58,000/yr.

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range forinformational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, butnot limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary ofinternal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
