Our client in the health industry is looking for a strong Salesforce Technologist/ System Configurator to join their team!
Job Title: Salesforce Technologist/System Configurator
Location: Hybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday)
Contract: 12 months (Right to hire after 4 months)
Job Duties:
Foster close partnerships with technical colleagues and with business application owners, business analysts, and system administrators who represent Salesforce end user areas across the organization
Embrace and engage in agility practices that drive continuous delivery for the cross-functional Salesforce team, as based on Kanban/Jira-based workflow for associated backlog/delivery management and reporting
Ensure cross-functional coordination and prioritization across production support items, solution investigations, enhancements, and project-level efforts; create, coordinate, and execute on delivery plans
Lead discovery and related client engagement processes, partnering with third party consultants when applicable, while engaging directly in business requirements clarification for complex business needs
Collaborate with business and technical teams to document solution design details, as the solid basis for efficiently configuring/developing, testing, and deploying high-quality solutions with minimal customization
Develop appropriate solution design artifacts: business case input, business requirements and functional specifications, use case scenarios, process flow diagrams, business rule summaries, data mappings, etc.
Lead application configuration work and coordinate testing efforts with software engineers and BAs for end-to-end solutions involving application configuration, custom development and/or system integration
Provide thought leadership for extended and innovative business capabilities on the Salesforce Lightning platform and across the integrated Business Technology ecosystem
Contribute to proposals for business application initiatives; provide technical solution design input and business value justification that aligns with technical and business data architecture strategies/governance
Initiate and support improvement efforts that help evolve and improve business requirements analysis, solution design, quality assurance, and agility practices to enhance team effectiveness and efficiency
Job Qualifications:
BA/BS in Information Technology or equivalent experience in Information Technology field
Direct experience on the Salesforce platform, including 7-10 years of hands-on leadership in Salesforce-related business requirements analysis, solution design, software configuration/testing/deployment, and production support, with in-depth understanding of Sales Cloud infrastructure and related solution options
Salesforce Lightning implementation experience is required, with prior Salesforce Classic experience preferred; awareness of differences/challenges with Salesforce Classic and Lightning platforms is desired
Demonstrated ability to monitor technology trends and to investigate and present technical solutions that could bring value to the business practices/processes in support of CAS corporate strategies/objectives
Self-starter with strategic, conceptual/analytical, and detail-oriented problem-solving skills, who accepts personal accountability to impact business results with solid solution delivery and timely production support
Effective communicator with teaming skills conducive to a high performing functional organization; adept at influencing and achieving results using positive and collaborative methods
Experience with building rapport and credibility as a strategic partner across business divisions, while working with colleagues and leaders at all levels in the organization
