About Salesforce Software Engineer III

  We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.

  As a Salesforce Software Engineer III on the Optimizers at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking's JPM Wealth Management Technology Group, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

  Job responsibilities

  Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems

  Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems

  Develop test cases by analyzing feature sets in alignment with the sprint schedule

  Working proficiency in developmental IDEs like VSCode along with SFDX

  Develop test cases by interviewing and communicating with end users, business stakeholders or project team

  Support QA efforts during implementations and rollouts of new system features

  Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies

  Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

  Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience

  Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

  Knowledge of customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, workflows, email alerts, approval processes, list views, reports and dashboards

  Conversant in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and FSC along with good understanding of OMNI Channel.

  Strong understanding of Salesforce Programming and Administration concepts like LWC, Lightning Components, Apex, Flows, Async Apex, Triggers and Assignment rules

  Working Knowledge of AURA framework, Lightning Design system and Omni Channel

  Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle

  Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security

  Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II Certifications

  Working knowledge of Bitbucket and JIRA
