The Database Administrator will be located in Fort Worth, Texas and is a long-term contract / contract opportunity.

　　Responsibilities

　　Baseline system performance, monitor for deviation, and recommend and implement improvements to slow running queries

　　Maintain all database instances across development, staging, and production environments, handling installations and configurations as needed

　　Fix database service outages as they occur, including after hours and weekends

　　Give advice on database design, tuning options, and other possible issues

　　Confirm that database server topology, configuration, and maintenance meet SLA goals when designed and executed

　　Reduce false alarms to a minimum by configuring database monitoring utilities

　　Improve performance with the most effective solution, such as hardware purchases, server configuration changes, or index/query changes Requirements - Salesforce Configuration experience required

　　Salesforce Administration experience

　　Deep understanding of Salesforce Development

　　4+ years of database experience

　　Experience developing and supporting documentation

　　Solid grasp of relational database management systems

　　Aptitude for adjusting queries to improve performance

　　Storage and server hardware experience a plus
