Ensuring Chart’s Success…
Responsible for process design, equipment sizing, and equipment selections of Chart’s Engineered Systems Group’s proposals. Expected to ensure the technical integrity of projects, including compliance with project scope, job specifications, engineering designs, and client's requirements. Additionally, this includes responsibility for technical accuracy of equipment selections and associated cost accuracy for this equipment.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
Review of customers equipment requirements, process design, specifications, and drawings to determine feasibility of design and application of equipment.
Performs engineering calculations to size vessels, piping and valving and assists in development of offered solutions to ensure equipment and systems conform to Chart engineering design standards, customer specifications, and industry standards.
Lead the coordination and development of offerings from concept to completion with minimal technical supervision. This requires working closely with all engineering disciplines, project management, customer representatives, suppliers, and shop personnel to assure that all aspects of the design requirements are considered and included in the offerings.
Assures that timely response is maintained by performing project development functions including supplier inquiry specifications and requisitions for bid and purchase, supplier bid analysis and supplier selection recommendations.
Assist in developing overall project schedules and budgets.
High level of customer interaction in developing their specific application solution from concept to order entry.
Grow and manage customer relationships during the project development phase.
Articulate and sell a system oriented, value-added solution.
Support the completion of terms and conditions of sale negotiations between Chart and its customers.
Work closely with Chart Sales teams to identify improvements to existing offerings, processes and implement solutions.

Your Professional Experience Should Be…
5 years of experience in the engineering, design, fabrication, and commissioning of mechanical cryogenic equipment used in the atmospheric gas or liquefied natural gas industries is required.
Knowledge of industrial codes and common engineering practices used within the cryogenic industry. Codes of specific interest are ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII Division 1, and NFPA 55/59A/85/87.
Desire and ability to do hands-on technical work.
Willing and able to travel as required to meet company and project requirements.
Must possess strong technical aptitude
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
Should possess a good working knowledge of MS Office, and preferably also Salesforce.com.
Knowledge and understanding of Company safety procedures and policies.
Awareness and understanding of Company quality standards.
Your Education Should Be…
Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical. Relevant experience in lieu of degree.Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
