PURPOSE
This position will be based in west Michigan and service both western MI and Indiana regions. The Regional Sales Representative will drive sales in their assigned territory and assist the Central Regional Sales Manager when needed on national and cross-region initiatives. This position is responsible for developing and executing annual business plans, developing and managing customer relationships within the assigned territory, and represents the company at trade shows.
RESPONSIBILITIESGrow sales in the assigned territoryCustomer Relationship Management:Develops, manages and maintains close, customer-centric relationshipsBusiness Plan Execution and Development:Creates and executes a robust business plan each yearInterfaces with key cross-functional areas, such as Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain to ensure customer requirements are metDevelop and solicit business from new accountsCustomer Project ManagementManage Distribution partner business in the sales territoryPlan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing and prospective accountsMaster product information / application knowledge through training and personal effortsDevelop effective sales presentations tailored uniquely to each account/projectKeep management informed of opportunities through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systemManage opportunity list and grow the prospect listAttend Trade ShowsTravel 50%, including overnight stays
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBacherlor's Degree(Engineering orEngineering Technical degree required)At least 3years of field industrial sales experience in the automationor linear motion spaceUS Citizen or Greencard holder - N o sponsorship available for this position. Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
