In this exciting and challenging position as a Sales Representative, you will be driving the sales of the Gastroenterology (GI) and Hepatology Solutions portfolio targeting a broad range of diseases in the GI tract in the defined geography. As most of the technologies are at an early stage of market development, a key part of this role will be to accelerate the adoption of these innovative diagnostic and therapeutic solutions.
You will perform sales presentations, conduct training and in-service activities for physicians and nurses. Key to your success will be building strong relationships with key opinion leaders and key non-clinical stakeholders to ultimately drive sales revenue. You will define plans and promote activities including workshops, symposia, and training events.
A Day in the Life
Promote/Sell GastroIntestinal and Hepatology-products in the region of Den Haag, Amsterdam, Utrecht.
Manage sales and negotiations with public and private institutions.
Present technologies and products to target customers and support the correct use of tools and products.
Launch new products to selected customers, in line with the business objectives.
Coordinate the major players in the market (Key Opinion Leaders and administrative operators).
Identify business opportunities and commercial solutions and follow up on assigned projects.
Provide clinical support to cases.
Must Haves
Preferably, Healthcare related (medical or scientific) degree or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in healthcare/device sales
Thorough understanding of the national/local healthcare system
Highly committed to customer’ satisfaction and long-term relationship development
Target-oriented, with successful sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry
Fluency in Dutch and English
Tender regulations expertise
Driver’s license
Nice to Haves
Knowledge and experience in the GastroIntestinal-area is a major plus
Self-starter attitude and strong time management and communication skills
Strong team player with high integrity standards
Able to work in a fast-changing, demanding and highly matrixed business environment
Engaging and persuasive personality
