Kayfoam is a long-established manufacturer of foam and mattresses in Ireland with two sizeable multi-shift manufacturing facilities in Bluebell Industrial Estate, Dublin and Kilcullen, Co. Kildare. The company employs over 300 people, exports 70% of its output to the UK market and is best known to Irish consumers via its mattress brands, King Koil, Kaymed and Odearest. Kayfoam is a wholly owned subsidiary of the US multinational, Leggett & Platt, which is a diversified manufacturer with annual revenues in excess of $5 billion that designs and produces various engineered components and products that can be found in homes and automobiles worldwide.
So, what will you be doing as a Sales Representative?
Maintaining our relationships with existing customers and growing their business.
Prospecting and bringing new accounts onboard to extend our overall distribution within suitable independent stores.
Looking after all group account stores in the area.
Offering ongoing training to our client’s sales teams.
Attending Trade Shows as part of Team Kaymed.
Keeping accurate records of product distribution by independent account.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Minimum 4-5 years Sales experience.
Business to business selling/relationship building experience would be highly advantageous.
A proven sales record in a relatable industry, although retail or business to business furniture experience would be an advantage.
Some previous retail/hospitality experience would also be preferred – we often help to sell to consumers whilst visiting our accounts.
Must have a clean Ireland driving license and the right to work in Ireland.
Skilled at managing day to day customer relationships.
Ability to build new, strong, and sustainable, customer relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively interact with customers, peers, sales management, and senior management.
The ability to deliver presentations and training.
Proven history of working effectively within a team environment, balanced with being able to work independently.
Self-motivation and tenacity will be essential.
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Good organization and time management skills.
