C & B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere ag, material handling and power sports locations, has an opening for a full-time Sales Representative at its location in Parkersburg, West Virginia. This highly motivated individual will sell material handling solutions in a specified territory through developing relationships and providing recommendations for new and existing customers. They will be responsible for continuing to develop new business to ensure continued high growth rates. Specifically, this role will sell material handling equipment such as lift trucks, aerial equipment, various types of racking, dock and door equipment, and any other items that will provide customer satisfaction.

　　Essential Duties:Developing relationships and expanding customer pipelinesImplementing strategies to increase sales and profit by prospecting within the defined territoryCreates customer specific proposals based on detailed needs analysisConducting market research to produce competitive comparisonsDeveloping and maintaining expertise on industry trends and best practices relevant to material handling solutionsQualified candidates must have at least 3 years prior outside sales experienceExperience developing and winning new business in a highly competitive environmentSelf-driven to actively prospect, cultivate and close new business opportunities using effective questioning skills to tailor solution benefits to meet prospect needs.Exceptional communication and sales presentation skillsRelates well to all kinds of people and easily builds trusting relationshipsUnwavering integrity and strong work ethicWillingness to travel across the assigned sales territory to grow business relationshipsProficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office productsValid driver's license and a safe driving recordPrevious knowledge and experience with material handling equipment strongly preferred
