About the Position:
As a Sales Planner for Onnit, you will play a critical role in ensuring effective sales planning, budgeting, and forecasting to drive business success in partnership with our HWC sales teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead monthly sales planning process across channels.
Monitor and track actual sales data vs forecast and trend to improve forecast accuracy and bias.
Effectively analyze reasons of forecast error and take appropriate actions on forecasting quality improvement.
Manage risks & opportunities and effectively communicate cross-functionally to ensure feedback loop across internal functions.
Develop and publish key Sales analysis reports and forecast accuracy metrics.
Partner with demand planning to review and adjust volume planning based on actual sales trend to ensure efficient supply planning.
Partner with accounting on trade management and forecast tracking.
Communicate findings with wide variety of stakeholders including field sales teams, operation teams, and Onnit leadership.
3-5 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) with a focus on sales analysis, forecasting, and/or sales planning (preferred)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends effectively.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in ambiguity and thrive in a dynamic, multi-project, deadline-driven environment.
Experience with a high-performance field organization, sales planning, and broker network.
