The Sales & Operational Support Manager (Business Manager) role is to be the internal liaison for external sales and customers to internal cross functional partners. Strong focus on customer partnerships and internal operations. Collaborate with cross functional team members to deliver results with regards to overall service level and customer profitability.Business and Process ManagementIdentify and manage opportunities for improvement in P&L Management, Forecasting, and Supply Chain processesWeekly margin management with critical callouts and action items identified to review and follow up with salesDrive customer ideations through New Opportunity Request process including private label opportunitiesUpdate and create departmental Standard Operating Procedures when process gaps are identifiedManage and communicate product initiatives and promotions to Supply ChainCoordinate urgent and detailed QA responses to customer complaintsDemonstrate strong competency in utilizing all systems necessary to perform job expectations SAP, AFO, BI, GIB, Price FX, EPM, CRM, SharePoint, Manage Engine, Microsoft Office Suite, Customer specific portalsIdentify opportunities that drive bottom line growth, and exceed KPI and report outPlanning, Analysis and CommunicationOwn customer/account profitability and volume targets against budgeted goals to exceed KPIsLead in the Price FX management process for each trade planned customer - Retail onlyDevelop, Review and validate forecast for customer's base and promotional volume to exceed KPI per family and/or private labelCoordinate with sales team and determine solutions to limit distressed products utilizing, but not limited to the PFT and PUSH list processesAlign with sales team on annual budgeting and reforecasting processManage customer specific accrual balances (ensure internal process is being followed and payouts are accurately managed)Coordinate and manage cross functional communications for New Business Alert / New Item Launch processMonitor private label inventory level and perform root cause analysis and corrective action if outside of targeted levelsDevelop customer facing presentations for Sales Meetings and Business ReviewsPrepare monthly shipment data reports for customer's reviewProvide data to support sales team and direct customersCommunicate with Customer Service team to ensure order fill and delivery accuracyCoordinate with Marketing Team on customer specific opportunitiesAnalyze and provide insight to customer specific data (cook book, IRI, etc.), communicate findings that drive action stepsCoordinate with Business Development team to develop and implement trade strategies on a quarterly basisReporting and AdminDevelop and collaborate with BD /AE customer specific one page plans and communicate results quarterly to organizationMonitor and track performance on Marketing Programs and customer contractsPricing implementation and management: Review and approve deductions and trade spend requests for accuracy and resolution to exceed KPIsNew customer setup, pricing setup, check requests, customer system requirements, EDICRM Compliance and trackingSchedule monthly progress review with Executive Business Director/ Account Executive/ BD to ensure complete alignment on activity and workflowsCoordinate samples requestsCoordinate and follow up on complaint processPrepare and submit check requests and claims within 10 days from notification utilizing CRMExecute quarterly review and scrub of customer specific date specificationsExecute quarterly review of customer playbooks for accurate information and update as necessaryReview and action item follow up for monthly price overridesManage customer and item specific allocationsSchedule and maintain routine meeting with SR Business manager to include coaching session and monthly KPI reviewsCreate and own yearly Individual Development Plan (IDP)Team CFGAttend cross functional meetings as neededAttend product cuttings as neededParticipate in organizational development meetings as neededQualifications

EducationBachelors (required)
Experience2 years: Minimum experience in Analytics, Sales or Related field. Strong interpersonal skills. High sense of urgency. Ability to function at a high level within a team environment. Ability to work independently and with individuals from multiple disciplines and varied levels of experience. Ability to excel in a fast pace environment where change and growth are a part of the culture. *Strong excel and system skills including: Pivot tables, V-lookups and other data manipulation techniques.
