  Role:

  The primary role of the Senior Analyst is to operate as a trusted business advisor with sales leadership to optimize sales performance within the GYN Surgical Division. The position reports to the Sr. Manager of Sales Analytics as part of the Commercial Excellence organization. The Sales Analytics team will work closely with Commercial Analytics, Sales and Marketing leadership, and where appropriate, Sales Excellence, to develop and deploy best in class programs and processes to contribute towards the development of a high-performance sales team.

  While this individual will have primary responsibility for a specific area, the position lends itself to working across areas when a specific business issue warrants it.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  Sales Planning, Analysis & Compensation

  Support & execute on annual sales planning process for the team(s) of focus.

  Develop robust models to recommend optimal alignments for changes to sales account alignment & regional structure.

  Manage the monthly/quarterly territory alignment process for the division and sales team(s) of focus.

  Routinely provide insight and business recommendations based on analysis involving our data, markets, customers, strategy, and performance.

  Demonstrated ability to think critically about proposed programs or process changes and provide recommendations for improvement. A continuous improvement focus is highly desired.

  Configure, maintain, and monitor our sales compensation platform to ensure accurate payouts and performance metrics for the division and team(s) of focus.

  Working with sales leadership, identify and measure key performance indicators for the sales organization. Develop timely, accurate, and insightful reports and analysis to field sales and sales management related to sales performance and incentives.

  Act as change agent to drive new/different behavior for value add metrics and measurements as needed

  Execute on ad-hoc reporting requests in a timely fashion

  Identify opportunities for improvement with sales operations processes and strive for automation in those processes.

  Identify process improvement and solve complex issues through rapid change

  Education

  Bachelor’s degree with an aptitude and training for quantitative analysis required, Master’s degree preferred.Experience

  5+ years of experience in an analytical support role required

  Prior sales incentives, analysis or operations experience required, preferably in healthcare sector

  Qualifications

  Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

  Strong communication and presentation skills

  Self-driven with ability to shift priorities quickly & efficiently

  Autonomy and proactive skills

  Expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with reporting packages such as Oracle, QlikSense and PowerBI

  Expertise in Xactly Incent and PowerBI preferred

  Ability to match/merge databases to facilitate appropriate analyses is required

  Ability to work independently and be a team player

  Must be able to travel regularly to various Hologic sites and sales meetings as needed

  Key Relationships

  Sales, Commercial Analytics, Sales Excellence, Finance, HR, Marketing, ISThe total compensation range for this role is $75,000 to $118,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
