Aeroseal is seeking an experienced and ambitious sales engineer with a strong track record and a genuine passion for specification of new technology solutions to engineering and consulting firms. As a key member of our commercial sales team, you will be responsible for generating new construction project sales by targeting named Engineering firms and Consultants to drive the specification of Aeroseal's Intelligent duct leak detection and sealing technology.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to drive Aeroseal's commercial specs in new projects and contribute to the overall success of our sales team and business.

Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
Possess in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and related technologies. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in duct leak detection and sealing technology.
Customer Interaction:
Collaborate with consultants, engineers, owners, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements. Conduct on-site visits to demonstrate Aeroseal's technology and provide technical guidance.
Product Knowledge:
Understand the features and benefits of our duct sealing solution and how they meet customer requirements. Articulate technical specifications in a clear and compelling manner.
Proposal and Presentation:
Aid in developing and delivering technical proposals and presentations tailored to client's projects. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales, product development, and engineering teams to ensure a unified approach to sales. Provide feedback to improve products based on customer input and market trends.
Problem-Solving:
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the sales process. Provide post-sales support to address any customer concerns.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor, offering expertise and guidance throughout the sales cycle.
Sales Targets:
Achieve assigned new spec sales targets and contribute to the overall attainment of the commercial sales goal.
Continuous Learning:
Stay informed about industry standards, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the industry. Attend conferences, seminars, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
Position requirements
Lead a minimum of 10 spec and technology demos to named engineering firms and consultants on a weekly basis.
Support sales executives and global channel sales with technical demonstrations and RFPs.
Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of Aeroseal's value proposition.
Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements.
Collect and document competitive intelligence.
Represent Aeroseal at key industry shows and conferences.
Requirements and skills
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
3 years minimum experience as a Sales Engineer.
Proven track record selling complex enterprise or HVAC solutions.
Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with engineers and consultants.
Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation and creativity skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Multilingual (Spanish/German/Arabic) preferred but not required.
