Safety Engineer

　　As a Safety Engineer you will communicate, implement, and enforce all safety practices, training, and prevention activities. This includes collaborating with all levels of the organization to achieve short and long term initiatives and goals.

　　Every day as the Safety Engineer you will...

　　Inspect and audit for potential safety concerns and ensure items are addressed promptly and correctly

　　Ensure that safety training records, incident/accident reports, MSDS sheets, or other safety related documentation is appropriately maintained.

　　Investigate incidents or accidents and gather and analyze statistics, and make recommendations for improvements.

　　Deliver safety training programs educating employees on safe working practices, appropriate equipment operation, and emergency procedures.

　　Collaborate with corporate safety department to develop plant specific procedures, training, and other related safety items to prevent and protect associates from illness, injury, or property damage.

　　To thrive in this role, you must...

　　Associate's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field

　　At least 3 years of experience working within safety compliance

　　Develop strong, personal relationships with all internal customers.

　　Promote a safety culture that encourages top performance and high morale .

　　Effectively communicates verbally and in writing
