　　Tellepsen is looking for a Safety Coordinator to implement our safety program to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions by performing the following duties.

　　Job Duties and Responsibilities

　　Participates in pre-construction meetings with project team and sub-contractors.

　　Evaluate possible hazards of the job sites and pre-construction work areas.

　　Implements, and evaluates programs and procedures to ensure personnel and facility safety.

　　Control hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee activities through safety management and contacting supervisory personnel.

　　Monitors and controls company's safety standards in accordance with OSHA and state regulations.

　　Investigates accidents to minimize recurrence and prepares accident reports.

　　Work collectively with insurance carriers and OSHA to pursue our goal of “zero accidents”.

　　Examines plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to determine if all safety precautions have been included.

　　Evaluates human activities working with new machinery and equipment to identify hazards.

　　Tours jobsites to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities; to identify and correct potential hazards; and to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

　　Determines requirements for safety clothing and devices, and designs, builds, and installs, or directs installation of, safety devices on machinery.

　　Conducts or coordinates safety and first aid training to educate workers about safety policies, laws, and practices.

　　Conducts air quality tests for presence of harmful gases and vapors.

　　Train Tellepsen employees in fall protection, motorized equipment, and OSHA 10/30 or other OSHA related topics.

　　Job Requirements

　　OSHA 500 Certification

　　Certification in CSHO (Construction Safety Health Official)

　　5 years experience in Construction Safety
