As the Supervisor of the Safety Compliance team, you will provide leadership and support of the daily activities of the team, assisting with external and internal customer questions, escalations, and support related requests. You will interact with multiple departments like the Engineering, Operations and New Product Development.
In the role of Safety Compliance Supervisor, you will:
Handle the work requests coming into the team, prioritizing and assigning resources to ensure timely delivery of requests.
Assess technical skills of staff, evaluate training needs relative to required skills, and develop ongoing training programs to improve skill development.
Responsible for hiring, policy communication, coaching, and grievances.
Answering Customer questions/providing updates in a timely manner
About the team
The Safety Compliance Team consists of 8 members based in Everett. You will supervise 7 of the members and will work collaboratively with a technical manager who is responsible for the adherence of work to technical and quality requirements. We work in a positive, multicultural atmosphere where we have fun and support each other on our quest to deliver a high-level of technical support to our customers.
Experience
Bachelor's degree, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering;
One year experience in technical or regulatory requirements
Ability to give instructions to a technical audience.
Personal skills
Positive demeanor, highly self-motivated
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and customer-handling skills - you are customer-focused and enjoy problem-solving;
Ability to effectively connect with different departments and job functions in a corporate environment;
Leadership skills and experience working in and leading (smaller) teams;
Be comfortable with consistent change - agility is key!

Everett, WA: The salary range for this position is $89,240- $165,600
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
