Position Purpose: The Interior Installation Technician Iworks under close supervision to remove and install and/or fabricateaircraft interiors by using company operating procedures and qualitystandards. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: Safely perform aircraft removal, installation,and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (galleys, closet, lavatories,side ledges, bulkheads, doors and vanity ledge fill panels). Coordinatewith supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Stationprocedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs and qualityspecifications. Specific fit and installation tasks are to be completedin compliance with work order instructions and specifications. Use thematerial tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and tosign off paperwork. Follow standard operating procedures when usingtools and equipment such as hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders andbrakes. Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools. Complywith safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies and use personal protectiveequipment as required. Address unsafe conditions before putting peopleor property at risk. Additional Functions: In support of aircraftcertification and final phase testing, may include flight tests onaircraft as required. . Perform other duties as assigned. OtherRequirements: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the Englishlanguage. Able to work any shift.
