A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AROUTE DRIVER As a Route Driver, you are responsible for collecting andtransporting raw materials from our broad customer base back tofacilities and transfer stations. Our customers range in size fromsmall-scale butchers, grocers, and restaurants up to large-scaleslaughterhouses and food processors. Driving a straight truck or atractor-trailer, you collect materials from multiple customers alongyour route each day. You manage your route with an onboard computer(OBC) and also keep an up-to-date backup paper log for compliancepurposes. Taking responsibility for your truck, you keep it clean andcomplete a vehicle condition report on a daily basis. You provideexceptional professional service to all customers and follow all lawsand regulations. You love that you get to hit the road for a living,while still being home every night!
