  DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will manage county maintenance activities, as well as organize and direct various administrative and technical support functions essential to the operation of Crawford County Maintenance Organization. Crawford County has 908 linear miles of roads, 2.2 M Daily Vehicle Miles of Travel (DVMT), a complement of 124 field personnel, and a budget of $25.4 M. You will also plan, organize, assign, and evaluate the work of a technical, storeroom, and clerical staff engaged in various highway management activities.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment.Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.   QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year of experience as a Roadway Programs Specialist or Roadway Programs Technician Supervisor; orThree years of experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of methods and techniques used in a roadway maintenance management system; and an associate's degree in a field of business administration, computer science, highway engineering technology or closely related program; orOne year of experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of methods and techniques used in a roadway maintenance management system; and a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or civil engineering related discipline; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
