　　Job Description:

　　Parsons Corporation is seeking candidates for a Roadway Maintenance Monitor assigned to the Richmond, Virginia area. In this role, you'll be assisting our Roadway Maintenance Teams as they complete crucial maintenance projects in and around the Richmond area.

　　This role is based in the Field, but will also require some time in the office for reporting, collaboration and work planning.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　Monitoring, inspection and oversight of the districts interstate maintenance contracts, and related Contractors.

　　Other interstate maintenance duties may be assigned as required by Virginia Department of Transportation mandates.

　　Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

　　The candidate should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of interstate or limited access roadway maintenance experience OR previous Roadway/Highway Inspection experience. Most importantly is previous experience overseeing Contractors on similar projects.

　　A broad spectrum of Contractor oversight for maintenance projects is preferred. Relevant previous project experience includes guardrail repair and inspection, Asphalt patching, Sign repair & replacement, Fence repair, Drainage work – pipe & culvert clean out, ditching, slope stabilization.

　　Certifications:

　　Candidates must be able to successfully complete VDOT Contract Monitors training after hire. (Not required prior to assignment)

　　Intermediate Traffic Control certification is preferred, but not required.

　　Valid driver’s license required

　　Salary Range:

　　$28.51 - $49.90
