Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will engage in a variety of engineering tasks, providing you with a chance to apply your academic knowledge and develop your skills in a real-world setting.Responsibilities:Prepares simple engineering and construction drawings from sketches or verbal instructions using MicroStation or AutoCAD.Prepares simple engineering calculations and inputs into industry standard analysis software.Performs related fundamental engineering support tasks such as making/updating simple calculations, checking/reviewing drawings, proofreading reports, etc.Supports field assignments that may include inspections of various roadways and highways.Education | Experience:Requirements:Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Civil Engineering or a closely related fieldCandidates must have basic knowledge of CAD, spreadsheets, interpreting design drawings and technical writingInterest in Roaday and Highway Engineering (design, inspection, construction)Self-motivated team player with strong verbal and written skillsCompany Overview:At Gannett Fleming, we believe in improving the lives of the people we serve.
