  1) 180 Wingo Way, Suite 106, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464

  2) Roper Mt. Pleasant Hospital - 3510 Hwy 17 N, Suite 315, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466

  Schedule: Mon-Friday from 8a-4:30p

  Monday - Mt. P Hospital

  Tuesday - Mt. P Hospital

  Wednesday - Wingo Way

  Thursday - Mt. P Hospital

  Friday - Mt. P Hospitalv

  RN Physician Partners

  Job Summary :

  Provides patient care at Roper St. Francis Health Care sites, as assigned, using approved protocols. Facilitate the timely communication of clinical advice to patients electronically or by phone as directed by practice providers. Ensure all needed medical records are available to care teams and providers prior to patient’s office visit. Coordinate with other team members to provide exceptional patient service. The RN will receive training on the Electonic Health Record system (EHR).

  Minimum Qualifications :

  Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

  Experience: One to two years RN experience, preferable.

  Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina or holds a current compact/multi-state license as a Registered Nurse in a recognized NCSBN Compact State and is not a permanent resident of SC. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.

  Knowledge/Skills: Requires the ability to use clinical equipment including EKG machine, spirometer, Hemocue, Pulse Oxymeter. Must have basic knowledge of medication policy and procedure and effectively utilize assessment skills for triage and patient care. Must be able to assist physician with outpatient office procedures. Strong patient-centered focus. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public. Ability to organize and manage competing priorities. Ability to problem solve and show good judgment.

  Other:

  Contacts : Patients, physicians, other staff members of the healthcare system.

  Work Demands/Environment :

  Intermittent standing. Intermittent walking. Intermittent sitting. May require lifting or moving items up to 50 lbs. Intermittent lifting/moving patients. Intermittent use of finger/hand dexterity. Frequent reaching with hands/arms. Corrected hearing and vision to normal range. Exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue. Possible exposure to infectious materials, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and/or other conditions common to a physician office environment. Normal medical office environment. Ability to read and comprehend. May be required to take call and/or work weekends/holidays based on the needs of the department. Requires work under stressful conditions, deadlines, and/or irregular hours.

  Certified Medical Assistant

  Job Summary :

  Provide patient care in outpatient physician practice under the direction of the practicing MD, MLP or RN. Responsible for staging patients in preparation to see providers. Update all patient medications in the medication history at each visit. Perform patient related tasks as directed by practice providers. Facilitate the timely communication of clinical advice to patients electronically or by phone as directed by practice providers. Ensure all needed medical records are available to care teams and providers prior to patient’s office visit. Coordinate with other team members to provide exceptional patient service. Assist with other clinical and clerical duties to ensure optimization of patient experience within the practice. The Medical Assistant should be proficient with the practice management software and the electronic health record (EHR).

  Minimum Qualifications :

  Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  Experience: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program. Prefer 1 year of clinical experience.

  Licensure/Certification: Current Certified Medical Assistant Certification from a certifying board approved by the Board of Medical Examiners. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.

  Knowledge/Skills: Strong patient-centered focus. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public. Ability to organize and manage competing priorities. Ability to problem solve and show good judgment. Record vital signs, patient’s chief complaint, performing ekg, etc. on all patients at every visit according to practice protocols. Phlebotomy skills preferred. Basic skill with computer keyboard, data entry functions and various software programs, e.g, Word and Internet applications. Knowledge in area of medical terminology. Basic skills with computer keyboard, data entry functions and various software programs i.e.: Word and Internet applications. Clear verbal and written communication skills as well as customer service excellence.

  Other: Administer medications, injections and immunizations under supervision of RN, APP or MD

  Contacts : Constant interaction with internal and external customers to include (but not limited to) patients, families, physicians, employees and visitors.

  Work Demands/Environment : Annual Wellness Visit Services

  Primarily sitting at desk, using telephone and working via computer in Call Center environment. Intermittent walking. May require lifting or moving items up to 50 lbs. Intermittent use of finger/hand dexterity. Frequent reaching with hands/arms. Corrected hearing and vision to normal range.. Ability to read and comprehend. May be required to take call and/or work weekends/holidays based on the needs of the department.
