About RN - Joint Replacement (FT) | Orthopedics | Ames | 2024-014 (with Surgical Differential)

  Description

  McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a RN - Joint Replacement for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

  Responsibilities include: Assist busy Joint Replacement physician with practice. Duties include assisting with direct patient care in the clinic and OR, pre and post op patient teaching, scheduling patients for surgical procedures and obtaining prior authorizations for procedures and testing.

  Education

  Graduate of an accredited school of nursingCertification/License

  Possession of State Registered Nurse license.

  Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

  Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse.

  Days: Monday - Friday. Participate in Evening and Weekend call rotation.

  Hours: Hour may vary (36 hrs/week).

  Experience

  Previous OR experience preferred, but not required. Benefits
