　　Variety in the types of patients we receive and the level of patient acuity prepares our nurses to care for the most critically ill of patients

　　Job Summary: Responsible and accountable for a designated patient population for the purpose of providing care based upon enactment of the nursing process and floats to multiple areas within an assigned team based on skill level.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Demonstrates clinical assessment skills and care planning skills.

　　Provides safe and effective care for the age population served according to regulatory requirements.

　　Professionally directs and manages the activities of the patient care delivery by the team members.

　　Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team for the plan of care from admission through discharge.

　　Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education based on age, culture and willingness to learn.

　　Job Requirements:

　　Current RN PA Licensure in good standing.

　　Minimum 3 years recent Med Surg/Tele experience in a Tertiary facility or large teaching facility.

　　CPR certification.

　　ACLS

　　Must be available for a concentrated period of time to attend orientation

　　RNs maintain responsibility and accountability for a designated patient population for the purpose of providing care based upon enactment of the nursing process RNs can identify, define and resolve all nursing care needs.

　　Those nurses hired to the Team 2 and Team 3 positions will be expected to rotate between Team 2 and 3 within 6 months of transfer into the PDP pool
