　　Schedule: Full Time, 40 hrs. Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p with extended hour opportunity. Must be willing to travel to satellite locations including Battle Creek, Dowagiac, Allegan, and Portage.

　　Responsibilities

　　Coordinate nursing program activities and resources within clinical specialty or department.

　　Develop and oversee program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures.

　　Develop and document care plans and therapy programs.

　　Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated.

　　Ensure necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered.

　　May supervise and direct nursing staff.

　　Coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required.

　　Requirements

　　Licensure / Certification / Registration:

　　BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

　　Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

　　Education:

　　Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.Additional Preferences

　　Associate RN with 5 years experience in managed care activities including management of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, insulin pump therapy, and continuous glucose management knowledge. Prefer RN who is certified as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist or must be willing to obtain DCES within 2-3 years of employment.
