Are you ready to apply your Risk Management expertise to Amazon's unique environment? We are looking for a Risk Manager with experience in business continuity to lead on implementation and maintenance of the second line BCP program.
The Risk Manager will be responsible for leading the second line Business Continuity program for our regulated entities, including oversight of business continuity planning for our financial services entities. To include (amongst other responsibilities): participation in program strategy setting; BCP Policy and other governance document maintenance and annual refresh; reporting to Governing Bodies; facilitation of key risk indicators; etc.
You will also work closely with our first line risk and control partners to provide guidance and oversight of implementation of business continuity requirements. To include: business continuity strategy setting and planning, training, exercising, communication plans, and reporting.

Key job responsibilities
• Second-line program level ownership for BCP risk program;
• Maintain a strong understanding of best in class risk and control principles, and regulatory expectations – embed governance processes to perform recurring gap analysis against those expectations, and drive remediation where necessary.
• Identify and develop appropriate data sources and elements which contribute to risk-based assessments.
• Own, maintain, and annually update policies, procedures, and other governance documents, as necessary.
• Board and Executive Management level document and report writing. Develop detailed, data driven narratives to inform Board members of risk levels, mitigations, and impacts.
• Perform operational deep dives on compliance-related processes and systems. Understand business processes, regulations and controls, work with partners to identify root cause of issues.
• Manage several projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.

Basic Qualifications
• 3-5yrs in a risk management related role, preferably with business continuity planning experience
• Proven experience of report or paper writing
• Experience of project / program management
• English language skills
