We are known for our dedication to industry-leading client service and tailored solutions.Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Risk Assessment Scientist for our Remediation and Compliance group. In this position, you will be working with an environmental team consisting of scientists and engineers solving complex environmental problems. This role is ideally based out of our Princeton, New Jersey location but has the potential to sit in any KJ location.Key Responsibilities:In this position, you will be working with an environmental team consisting of scientists and engineers solving complex environmental problems.Collaborate with a team of engineers and scientists to ensure delivery of accurate and timely work for clients and projects across the country.Data management, risk assessment and statistical analysis; data preparation and management such as organizing, tracking, extracting and summarizing environmental data and their sources.Data evaluation, integration and visualization; documenting methods, results and recommendations.Field work including sampling, travel up to 30%Qualifications:BS (MS preferred) in Environmental Science, Biology, Toxicology, Chemistry or Environmental Engineering Required3-5 years' experience in risk assessment or masters level educationUnderstanding and appreciation for chemistry and ToxicologyStrong quantitative skillsKnowledge and experience with EPA risk assessment process, guidance, methods, and tools used for CERCLA and RCRA, as well as guidance, methods, and tools for State site remediation programsExcellent oral and written communication skillsCollaborative, team-orientedExposure to or experience in field sampling methods either through coursework and internship or on the jobKennedy Jenks supports a healthy work-life balance and utilizes a hybrid model of home and office work to empower our people to thrive and achieve their full potential.Work Locations: Princeton, NJ * Denver, CO * Portland, OR * Federal Way, WA * CaliforniaSalary range for this position is anticipated to be $75,000 to $110,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications and geographic location.Benefits summary: Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k, bonus opportunities, tuition reimbursement, professional registration support, a competitive PTO and holiday plan, and other benefits and programs.As an employee-owned firm, Kennedy Jenks offers a unique company culture with a corporate commitment to maintaining a positive work/life experience with a flexible hybrid work environment.
