Your Opportunity
Under the direction of the Senior Right of Way Agent, you will possess a good working knowledge of all right of way disciplines; title, permitting, acquisition and documentation.
Your Key Responsibilities
Facilities review of contract and legal documents
Tracks contract and documents
Tracks contractual obligations of various entities
Tracks milestone schedules
Prioritize various document requests for review by Manager to expedite for processing
Evaluate document requests to determine required action based on policies and procedures
Prepares deliverables
Review plans and assist with drafting scope of work details
Assist with schedule generation
Attend project meetings
Correspondence preparation and tracking
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Thorough understanding of right of way laws
Ability to understand contracts, legal documents and preparation of proper reporting documents
Ability in facilitating contract review and/or negotiation
Database management
Records search
Explaining the program/project to affected parties
Cost estimating
Preparing reports
Experience in life cycle project management
Strong understanding of how to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
Detail oriented, works well under pressure, capable of handling multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines
Must be methodical, analytical and well-organized
Must be able to work both with and without direct supervision
Valid Driver License
Education and Experience
Associate’s or technical degree in related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of Contracts experience.
Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work. Typical office environment includes working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Employee may drive on company business to deliver plans or documents to reviewing agencies or clients or to attend meetings. Occasionally visits construction sites or works in outside weather conditions.

CA Other Areas $28.17 Per Hour - CA Other Areas $39.47 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC)The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
