Summary of Role: As a Design Enablement Engineer, you will be a member of the Design Enablement Team responsible for developing design components for Process Design Kits (PDK) and Automation of them. Essential Responsibilities include: Develop, maintain and improve GlobalFoundries Process design kits including support of EDA tools from vendors like Cadence, Synopsys and Siemens. Create PDK related documentation. Responsible for usage, update and documentation of PDK relevant software tools. Required Qualifications: Education - Graduating with Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Computer Science or related field from an accredited degree program. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in semiconductor and/or EDA industries. Good knowledge of electronic devices and semiconductor theory. Exposure to Cadence IC (Virtuoso Layout, Schematic or Skill programming language) is a plus. Previous experience with Unix/Linux systems is also a plus.
