Revenue Analyst
Responsibilities:
Performs financial and accounting analysis to ensures proper revenue recognition in accordance with Company policies and GAAP
Responsible for preparation of revenue recognition including installation letters, deliverables; deferrals, and reconciliations, etc.
Assist with preparations of key revenue forecasts and analytics for management
Execute control processes to validate revenue recognition compliance; initiate corrective action for non-conforming transactions in a timely manner.
Prepare audit PBC schedules; submit to and review with management and audit team.
Work with IT for revenue related system testing
Perform special projects as needed.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of ASC 606 accounting rules and related literature.
The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving dynamic environment, deal with high volume data transactions and solve data discrepancy within short turn-around time.
Ability to troubleshoot and analyze problems, as well to multi-task and meet deadlines under urgent requirement.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously and work with grace under pressure.
A strong drive for excellence with an established practice of eliciting functional and cross functional collaboration to achieve excellence/results.
Excellent written and verbal communication skill, self-motivated and self-directed; however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people as a team member
Excellent follow-through and meticulous eye for detail.
Microsoft Excel skills are required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of accounting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
2 years as revenue accountant or higher, preferably in a high tech, internet company or medical device.
2+ years of SAP Experience
Advanced EXCEL skills
SAP and NetSuite experience
