About Retirement Manager

  Job Summary: The Manager North America Retirement Benefits is responsible for the administration, and support of Ecolab's North America retirement (Canada, Puerto Rico, United States of America) benefits. Primary focus is providing support and security of retirement programs to Ecolab's approximately 20,000 associates in North America. Responsibilities include the management of vendors, internal stakeholder relationships, analysis of data relating to Ecolab plans, benefit systems support and administration, support of corporate financial and Treasury functions related to retirement plans, and regulatory compliance. Main Responsibilities: Manages vendors relationships and budgets; accountants, actuaries, administrators, attorneys, and banks Build strong stakeholders relationships with legal, accounting, financial planning and analysis, and treasury colleagues to support the administration and governance of North America retirement programs. Prepares management reports using multiple data sources, ensuring accuracy of employee data; process reports and data needed by HR-Finance and vendors for ongoing analysis; assist with management of monthly benefits budget and participate in the annual budgeting process. Manages, analyzes, and coordinates compliance of company retirement plans. Monitors retirement trends in the market and stays current with retirement legislation, regulation, and judicial rulings. Manages and support finance partners with audits (plan, corporate, and SOX). Takes a lead role in various ongoing and one-time projects. Monitors and improves data collection and reporting procedures for efficiency. Project lead on overall process improvements in all retirement areas including maintaining up to date process documentation. Support Director Benefits in strategy and design of retirement plan benefits by evaluating and comparing retirement plan benefits with other employers through market and data analysis. Defined Contribution plan administration including processing wires, resolving data issues, and supporting systems integrations/upgrades/enhancements, and communication with associates. Pension Plan administration including pension issue resolution, reviewing and resolving monthly data feed edits, pension trust account reconciliation, annual mass change files, and communication with associates. Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager. Minimum Qualifications: BS/BA degree in Human Resources Management, business or related field 5 years of experience in retirement 5 years vendor management experience Ability to balance responsibilities ranging from routine administrative to corporate strategy Aptitude for complex spreadsheet reconciliations Ability to manage diverse and conflicting priorities and projects Strong systems skills; Advanced Excel skills including vlookups, pivot tables, trouble shooting and creating complex formulas; macro experience a plus Ability to remain flexible in a changing and demanding environment Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization Strong problem solver comfortable working in an execution mindset identify problems and drive appropriate solutions PreferredQualifications: Experience working with accountants, actuaries, and attorneys on retirement programs Experience communicating with executives about retirement programs Workday experience Attention to detail People management experience within a matrix operating model Certifications/Licenses: accounting, actuarial, or administrator certification (Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Qualified 401(k) Consultant (QKC), Certified Pension Consultant (CPC)) Benefits Ecolab strives to provide comprehensive and market-competitive benefits to meet the needs of our associates and their families.to see our benefits.
