  ABOUT YOU

  This opportunity is mainly an administrative and coordinating role: working with the retailer’s personnel to help maintain and develop relationships between Intertek and the retailer.

  Required skills and experience:

  Microsoft office and systems/reporting tools

  Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

  Driven and energised – can work independently.

  Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

  Can provide evidence of working in a fast-paced working environment

  Demonstrates a high level of personal organisation and time management to ensure deadlines are met.

  Knows when and how to communicate clearly at different levels of seniority.

  Drive performance through monitoring KPI results to ensure expectations are met

  Confident communicator (written & oral) and able to build rapport, quickly and effectively.

  Demonstrates flexibility and resilience in order to meet the demands of the role

  Experience of TIC industry or working within retailer is beneficial but not essential.

  Experience of Textiles/Toys etc would be an advantage but not essential.

  ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

  Key activities:

  To work alongside the relevant contacts both in the retailer and within Intertek such as the Intertek Account Manager, Operational and Technical teams.

  Tracks progress of projects to ensure turnaround times and performance metrics are met.

  Produce reports on KPIs, highlighting any trends and recommending areas to deliver continuous improvement – in a timely manner.

  Investigates all reported issues with urgency and identifies any areas of commonality with a view to ensuring a permanent fix is installed.

  Use the data portal to manage information.

  Maintain records of all relevant information.

  Ensure products compliance to company, industry and regulatory standards.

  Participate in and facilitate communication between the retailer and the wider Intertek network to ensure key projects and programmes are delivered within agreed timelines. Acting as the central point of contact in all communication.

  To be a proactive member of the wider retailer technical team and input into process improvements where necessary.
