  Job Description

  The successful candidate will collaborate with the Director of Retail Media Strategy to develop and execute innovative retail media strategies that drive revenue growth, increase brand awareness, and enhance the customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of planning and buying commerce-driving media within Retail Media Networks and offsite media in the retail space. The Retail Media Strategist will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that our media campaigns are best-in-class, fit-for-purpose and achieve KPI’s.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Develop and support the planning and execution of comprehensive retail media strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth for clients.

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate retail media plans across all channels, including paid search, social media, display advertising, and incentivization.

  Partner with Shopper Strategy to ground campaign strategies in syndicated data and media consumption trends.

  Maintain relationships with media partners and negotiate media buys to maximize ROI/ROAS.

  Provide regular reporting to clients on campaign performance, pacing, including optimization recommendations.

  Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in retail media activation - growing expertise and refreshing certifications and training courses as able.

  Help educate and inform agency colleagues on relevant media digital trends and developments.

  Provide guidance and recommendations to internal teams on retail media activation strategies.

  Maintain a three-day a week in office presence. Our goal for time in the office is to create environments that maintain flexibility while enabling more in-person connection.   CORE COMPENTENCIES:

  Retail Media Network Search and Display Buying ExpertisePLATFORMS & PROTOCOLS:

  Retail Media Network’s – Amazon, Walmart Connect, Roundel, Criteo etc.

  Offsite Commerce Platforms – The Trade Desk, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest etc.

  Reward / Promotional Platforms – ibotta, Shopkick, KCL etc.

  Microsoft 365 – Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Teams

  Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.

  2-4 years of experience in retail media strategy, including expertise in Retail Media Network ecosystems (e.g. Amazon, Walmart Connect & Roundel).

  Understanding of hands on keyboard and managed-service commerce media buying, including RMN’s and offsite.

  Proven track record of delivering successful media campaigns which achieve KPI’s vs. benchmarks.

  Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform strategic media plans and optimizations.

  Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams.

  Compensation Range: $64.5K - $75K . This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
