　　Job Summary

　　Under close supervision, assists with food preparation, serving andclean-up in the cafeteria, production, storeroom, trayline and relatedareas. Assists stocking of food items. Serves food to customers. Prepares,assembles, and delivers food to patient rooms. Follows and implements HACCPguidelines. Complies with regulatory agency requirements.

　　Essential Functions:Prepares a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors'instructions, following approved procedures.Participates in post meal cleanup tasks as assigned or directed, includingsweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, and working in dish room and potroom as needed.Assist Cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed and provide cookswith needed items.

　　Education:High School Diploma or GED Preferred

　　Work Experience:No previous work experience required. Food service, healthcare, orcustomer service experience preferred

　　Licenses:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of food preparation techniquesKnowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions sufficient to beable to establish a safe work environment.Knowledge of chemicals and equipment used to clean surface areas sufficient tobe able to maintain a clean and orderly work area.Skill in understanding and following oral, illustrated, written ordemonstrated instructions.Ability to communicate effectively
